Parlour Unplugged is an acoustic performance series where artists perform stripped-down sets in the unique art home residence of artists Trueson and Zia Daugherty, which has been dubbed ‘The Parlour’.

This series is a platform to showcase some of the top emerging musical artists in the heartland in this beautiful curated environment.

With fully mixed and mastered audio courtesy of Logan Bruhn these videos are ideal for a big screen connected to your favorite sound system.

Tulsa-based indie rock band Manta Rays know how to have a good time. Formed by high-school friends Jackson Gillett (songwriter, lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Britton Gregory (bass, backup vocals) with a shared love for britpop and 70s rock, Manta Rays later added Tyler Sexton (guitar) and John Pierce (drums) to complete the group that sounds like a bridge between the classic songwriting style of the ‘60s and ‘70s with the more contemporary vibes of new age indie and psych rock. The group also draws big inspiration from the Britpop wave of the late 90s and NYC indie rock movement of the early 00s. No song better reflects their vibe than their 2022 single ‘Make it On Time’, the video for which features the boys jamming out in the back of a moving U-Haul and frolicking in a psychedelic field of flowers. While their lyrics are often introspective, they carry the weight of becoming an ‘adult’ in an increasingly-strange world with a lighthearted charm that is impossible to resist. Now distributed by AWAL, Manta Rays are hard at work on multiple projects, including their sophomore full-length with producer Kendal Osborne (Closet Studios), and new work with producer Logan Bruhn (Josh Fudge, The Links, Lexi Onyango). Manta Rays are releasing their newest single ‘Vic’ on August 18 and will keep the momentum going with new singles every 6-weeks through the start of 2024.
