Celebrating Berlin Pride 2024

On July 27, 2024, hundreds of Axel Springer colleagues and allies came together to celebrate diversity and freedom at #BerlinPride. This year's theme, "Together We Take a Stand! #Democracy Needs #Diversity," resonated strongly as our massive truck—the largest in the parade—led 170 participants along a vibrant 7.6-kilometer route through Berlin, culminating at the iconic Berlin Victory Column.

Our participation was proudly led by Axel Springer #Queerseite, our #LGBTQI+ network that's been advocating for equality since 2014. We had incredible support from brands like AVIV Group, Awin Global, BILD, Bonial Germany, idealo, Media Impact, The Stepstone Group, Welt and many more within the Axel Springer family. Special thanks to the Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Security teams for their efforts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making Berlin Pride 2024 an unforgettable celebration of diversity and unity. Let's continue to stand together—not just on special days, but every day—in support of democracy, diversity and freedom. 🏳️‍🌈
