Bicycle Vlog 22: ‘Crossing the Persian Gulf - Iran to Dubai’ - The dried up lake we found in the previous episode makes for one of the most memorable places where we have pitched our tent. We explore, cook a healthy meal and wake up the next morning refreshed. On our route to the coast we discover the ruins of a mud brick village. We explore and wonder how life must have been like back then. In Bandar Abbas we take the ferry across the Persian Gulf to Sharjah and meet a great bunch of fellow World cyclists. Getting in to the United Arab Emirates is a long and confusing process but eventually we are free to go and cycle towards Dubai, guided by the world tallest building. The sparkling metropolis is a sight to behold but there is a darker side to it’s story.

To see, feel, smell, hear and taste everything the road has to offer will be so much different than watching a documentary or reading a book about it. Sometimes it will be difficult and most of the time fantastic. We hope you will find inspiration in our video's and maybe fuel your dreams as so many other have done for us.
