Quartz Eagle Falls - Waterfalls

This charming little waterfall is found along an unnamed creek one comes across (and has to cross) just under 3 miles up the Quartz Creek trail to Curry Gap. Earlier in the season, this can be quite a challenge to do, as the bedrock is rounded smooth on either side of the gap where the water rushes through the trail and down the mountain. The gap itself is a god 5 feet across, and even in late July its better than 6 inches deep.

The waterfall itself is quite pretty, and very rambunctious. This makes for a great spot to either pause for a moment and get a drink of water, or stop for the day early in season or if you are trying out some new gear.
