Industry Season S3E5 Breakdown Recap & Review: Murder At Pierpoint?!??! *SPOILERS*

There are so many things this episode did well. As the comparisons to Succession to continue to mount, they become increasingly more valid. The writing here is just exceptional this week. This show continues to impress me by repeatedly taking unexpected turns, but just because the turns were unexpected by me, that doesn’t mean the show hasn’t laid the groundwork for them. It absolutely has. Then you have Robert. I’ve been beating the “Robert is the best character on the show” drum for quite some time now, and after this episode, how can you not agree? He’s the most complex character. He’s evolved the most. And Harry Lawtey? The actor who plays Robert? He was incredible this episode, man. He was every bit as great in this episode as Rishi was last week. Lastly, I’m of course going to attempt to explain what took place at the government hearing, as well as what’s going on with Pierpoint.
