How much money are USC grads making? In this video, I interview fresh USC grads to find out what their major is, what their first jobs are, their starting salaries, and whether a degree from one of the most expensive universities in the world is really worth it.

I had a blast making this video and I want to thank all the graduates for taking time away from celebrating with their families to talk to me! I love talking to students at USC and I'm grateful to have met a ton of really interesting people. Also, if you're a recent graduate watching this video and you don't have a job lined up, I want you to know you're not alone. I dealt with this too after graduating from UCLA in 2014 - all my friends had high paying jobs, while I was doing side hustles and trying to start my own businesses. I was completely broke in comparison but eventually I made it work! We are all on our own separate journey so it doesn't make sense to compare to others.

I interviewed students from engineering, business, dance, and some clear patterns started to show. Some grads are moving back home to save money, others already have jobs, and a few are still figuring it out. It was a long day filming in the heat, but it was all worth it for the advice these grads gave on internships, networking, and getting your foot in the door.
