Battlefield V GTX 1080 TI 1080P | BFV 1080p (i5 8600K 5GHz) was recorded for demonstration purposes. You can see the performance stats: GPU utilization, temps, fps. Keep in mind that this is Battlefield V public open beta but pretty much visuals and level of lods will be the same.

Monitoring stats at the left top is easy to read and here is explanation: T=temp for GPU,CPU, U=utilization or usage per GPU,CPU or VRAM, F=frequencies for CPU,GPU or VRAM, FR=fan ratotion is % for GPUs and CPU set maximum for Corsair H150i Pro water cooler). Keep in mind that only one Gigabyte Xtreme Edition 11G Waterforce (Water-cooled) GTX 1080 TI 11GB (with so much copper everywhere by Gigabyte). SLI was not supported in Public Open Beta or was not easy to enable for a regular user. GTX 1080 TI video card was overclocked little bit on GPUs (+10MHz) and a lot of MHz on VRAM(+415 MHz).

So for single GTX 1080 TI video card 5K is playable but with GTX 1080 TI 2-way SLI - 4K or even 5K will be enjoyable. If we are talking 8K resolution and SLI -it will be impossible or will crash during the game just like BF1. GTX 1080 TI VRAM (11264MB) will be overloaded. for 8K you will need two GTX 1080 TI and if GTX 1080 TI was with 12GB of VRAM then it would be possible for Battlefield V in 8K resolution. 2x GTX 1080 TI is impossible in 8K resolution or it will be crashing a lot of frostbite at lease 2GB of VRAM message or settings will be set to low visuals... If we are talking about GP102 v1.0 that is GPU for GTX 1080 TI and TITAN X (Pascal) then 12GB is nessacary for BF1 or BF V, so Titan X Pascal in SLI will be your choice. However Titan XP (GP102 v2.0) has more cuda cores and faster at 8K resolution and in 2-way SLI or 4-way SLI(not officially) will be the best.
