Wiring Diagram Adding a Light But WHY Use 3 Core and CPC Cable Connections Explained

Описание к видео Wiring Diagram Adding a Light But WHY Use 3 Core and CPC Cable Connections Explained

Student training aid for the connections required when adding light to come on with another light but WHY use 3 core and CPC cable (3 core and earth).

In the video I explains the connection required within the original lighting point and the one I add that will come on at the same time. We see how 3 core and CPC cable between the 2 lighting points can be a massive advantage and allow the circuit to continue on to another room.

This method of wiring to the 3 gang switch means both the downstairs lighting circuit the landing light and outside light are all on the same fuse or MCB. This means that when you pull or operate just one fuse you will isolate all the conductor inside the 3 gang switch.

I apologise for the flicker*
