AUTO-LIFTER NABBED; TWO STOLEN BIKES RECOVERED IN CONTINUING CRACKDOWN
Keeping in view of auto theft incidents in the area of Shahdara District, the team of AATS/Shahdara District was directed to visit the place of incidents of theft and analyses the CCTV cameras and identify and nab the suspects, who are actively involved in two wheelers theft.
INCIDENT: -
A dedicated team comprising of HC Sudhir, HC Kuldeep, Ct Ajay Kumar led by SI Vikrant Choudhary I/C AATS/SHD and under the close supervision of Sh. Gurudev Singh, ACP/Operations/Shahdara was constituted and the task was assigned to track and nab the auto lifter active in the area of Shahdara District. Team was deployed in Civil clothes in the areas to collect the local intelligence. On 07.04.2025, secret information was received that one person is actively doing two wheelers theft in the area, he is supposed to come on a stolen Motor Cycle Hero Splendor Black Color, No. DL5SCW2333 near Parking CBD Ground Anand Vihar, Shahdara, Delhi if, raid conducted, he will be nabbed. Acting swiftly on the receipt of this secret information, team led a trap near parking CBD Ground, Anand Vihar and one auto lifter namely Aman Beg R/o Shri Ram Nagar, Railway Colony, Shahdara, Delhi Age-22 Yrs has been apprehended and one Hero Splendor Motor Cycle Black Color No DL5SCW2333 was recovered from the possession of accused. On verification of the above said motor cycle was found stolen in case e-FIR No. 003482/25, dated 04/02/2025, U/s 305(b) BNS, PS GTB Enclave, Shahdara District, Delhi.
INVESTIGATION: -
During course of investigation, accused Aman Beg mentioned above has been arrested vide DD No. 134A, dated 07/04/2025, U/s 35.1(e)/106 BNSS, PS Anand Vihar, District Shahdara and the recovered stolen Hero Splendor Motor Cycle Black Color No DL5SCW2333 has been taken into police possession through seizure memo.
Further on the instance of accused Aman Beg, one stolen Hero Splendor Motor Cycle Black Color No DL7SCM3267 was also recovered from Aaradhak Road near Mohalla Clinic, Seemapuri, which was found stolen in Case e-FIR No 022792/22 dated 12/08/2022 u/s 379 IPC, PS Mandawli, East District Delhi.
INTERROGATION: -
On sustain interrogation, accused Aman Beg mentioned above disclosed that he is resident at Shri Ram Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi. He is working as a delivery boy in Zepto and a habitual of drinking alcohol. He is unmarried. He was not earning sufficient money to meet his basic needs. He had started steeling the two wheelers and used to sell the stolen vehicles to his known persons nearby area and earned money for his basic needs.
RECOVERY: -
1. One stolen Hero Splendor Motor Cycle, Black Color No DL5SCW2333
2. One stolen Hero Splendor Motor Cycle, Black Color No DL7SCM3267
CASES WORKED OUT: -
1. Case e-FIR No. 003482/25, dated 04/02/2025, U/s 305(b) BNS, PS GTB Enclave, Shahdara, District, Delhi.
2. Case e-FIR No 022792/22 dated 12/08/2022 u/s 379 IPC, PS Mandawli, East District Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS: -
• Aman Beg mentioned above disclosed that he is resident of Shri Ram Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi. He is habitual of drinking alcohol. He is working as Delivery boy in Zepto. He was not earning sufficient money to meet his basic needs. He had started steeling the two wheelers and used to sell the stolen vehicles to his known persons nearby area and earned money for his basic needs.
• Further efforts are being made for more recovery.
