These natural marvels, woven from the roots of rubber trees by the Khasi people, span across rivers and streams, providing a unique and eco-friendly form of transportation. Walking across these bridges, especially the renowned double-decker living root bridge, feels like stepping into a page from a fantasy novel. As we continue our journey, we encounter some of Meghalaya’s most stunning waterfalls. The sight of water cascading down rugged cliffs into deep pools below is nothing short of mesmerizing.
