Описание к видео DIY Seamless Rustic Floating Shelves

Video process on how I create a set of seamless, rustic-style, floating shelves with perfect miter joints. They measure 32 inches in length, are about 3 inches high and come off the wall close to 10 inches. I used cabinet-grade 1/2 pine plywood for the large surface area and solid pine for the outside trim. MDF will also work if you're just going to paint it. Small scratches were applied to the surface with a light sanding from 40 grit sandpaper for a more industrial-style appearance. I wanted a seamless look so I used perfect miter joints on the outside to hide the end-grain you would usually find using a butt joints. At the end I show a 25lb. weight being put near the back to show shear force. I don't think it would hold near the front which would be double the weight on the hanging point. Plus it's WAY more than what is needed for a few picture frames and trinkets but I like to test the limits anyways. Enjoy and Subscribe, project videos posted weekly!
