This test run took 11 minutes and included using advanced attack potions for an additional 5% action speed. They're easy to get in this patch, so I use them all the time regardless of the content. Personally, I take it haste speed more effective than combo damage for a DPS priest.

I think a perfect rotation doesn't exist, human error is somehow hard to handle. So, I prefer to use battle assist rather than manually pressing the skills and find it much more comfortable. The damage output isn't significantly different. However, if you are concerning about correct rotation, correct way of DPS priest, perfect skill loop, perfect spell queue or dealing with internal delays caused by battle assist. You better manually using the skills yourself instead of relying on battle assist because that’s not our goal. I just value my convenience and it’s simply a matter of personal choice.

For macro, just set them up to spam 1 and 4, while 6 and 7 can be used manually. For IS combo, I recommend stacking up your spectrum energy, then unleashing 6, 4, and 7 respectively. The opening combo is similar but without IS.
