HDX Dataset Deep Dive with the International Organization for Migration

This webinar showcased the work of the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) unit of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). DTM gathers and disseminates critical information on mobile populations, including the vulnerabilities and needs of displaced people around the world. IOM provides DTM data as a common resource to all actors in humanitarian response contexts and engaged in supporting populations on the move. The DTM team explained how the data enables decision-makers and responders to provide people on the move with context-specific assistance.

IOM shares some 200 datasets on HDX related to displacement in over 60 countries and territories. In 2023, the IOM page on HDX had close to 29,000 visitors and had data downloaded more than 55,000 times.
