Ever heard of periscope architecture? This innovative concept uses mirrors set at a 45-degree angle that can move up and down. These mirrors let natural light and panoramic views reach underground rooms, transforming them into bright, pleasant spaces. Solar-powered engines lift the mirrors during the day to flood the underground spaces with light and views, and lower them at night to store energy.

The project appears to rise from the ground because of these moving mirrors. When the mirrors are lifted, it seems as though parts of the building are emerging from the earth, creating a dynamic interaction with the landscape and highlighting the underground experience.
