This is Bailey Boonie—a sweet island pup whose life almost ended far too soon.

Bailey was brought to Saipan Humane Society with a serious leg injury. With no veterinarian on island, our small clinic team did everything we could to stabilize her… but her owners never came back.

Weeks later, Bailey returned with a leg so infected and painful, it was beyond saving. That’s when our heroes—@banfieldfoundation—sent a veterinary team to help. The veterinarian who performed her amputation fell in love with Bailey and offered to foster her in the U.S.!

Thanks to @vcacharities, Bailey’s flight to the mainland will be covered. She’ll heal up and head to Illinois, where she’ll be cared for until adoption.
