Silvuddy's Notes:

- Mewtwo: The XY remix of the Kanto Wild theme has kind of become Mewtwo's calling card. In FRLG, Mewtwo battle music was also slightly different from the Legendary Birds' remix of the wild theme, with extra synth instruments.

- Tower Guardians: HGSS rectified the lack of special battle music for Ho-oh and Lugia in GSC by giving both of them unique, incredibly detailed compositions that represent the two very well: Ho-oh's is sheer feudal-Japanese goodness, while Lugia's is intimidating orchestra.

- Super-Ancient Pokémon: The original Main Legendary Pokémon theme stands the test of time. HGSS remixed the short but intense, percussion and brass heavy theme with a drum breakdown in the middle. ORAS has two remixes of the original: the Primal version that mixes in some of the original RSE soundfont, and one that's a more simple upscale for Rayquaza.

- Primordial Chaos: The creator deities of Sinnoh have such a special theme with the focus on piano, soft melodies, and strange time signatures. BDSP upscaled the original, but Legends: Arceus gave us two unique versions: one slower rendition of the original for the Altered Forms, and one straight up Eurobeat remix for the Origin Form final boss fight. Giratina has its own creepy, guitar centric theme, whose remix in Legends: Arceus bangs so hard I get knocked out of my seat.

- Legendary Dragons: A march-like orchestral theme which slightly varies depending on which you're facing. At one point, Zekrom's fight has electrical noises, while Reshiram's has flame sounds. Kyurem's version omits both, but adds slap bass and new rhythms. Black/White Kyurem has a different theme with a scary opening and driving groove, that also references the original theme briefly.

- Incarnations of Nature: This one is somewhat underappreciated in my book, but it's still cool nonetheless. The synth melody kind of sticks in your head! (I also decided to give these legends my own title since they don't have an official one)

- Deities of Light: This theme gets off to a weird start, but eventually establishes a cool motif oddly reminiscent of Deoxys' theme. Another motif is introduced once the pounding Fused Necrozma theme quiets down, which eventually gets fully realized as Ultra Necrozma's theme along with references to the original SM legendary theme.

- Legends of Galar: While the "main" main legendaries are just the dog heroes, Eternatus is a major threat and Calyrex is the focal Pokémon in Crown Tundra (Urshifu doesn't have any unique battle music). Each tune is quite characteristic of who it represents: the heroes have mysterious and knightly themes, Eternatus's are alien, and Calyrex's are regal and galloping.

- Paradox Dragons: I think Koraidon and Miraidon don't technically have their own theme; the theme heard in the final battle of the story is really the player's theme (as it's an arrangement of the South Province music), while their post-game battle simply reuses Area Zero's wild theme.
