Shaurya Samman Award 2021 | Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal, VSM

Kunwar Viyogi Shaurya Samman” has been instituted to celebrate the creative talent in the armed forces for excellence in Art, Literature and Culture, in memory of the Soldier Poet, Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Group Captain Randhir Singh is popularly known as Kunwar Viyogi.
The award also honors brave soldiers, serving, retired or posthumous to show gratitude towards the Nations’ Brave for their selfless service to the country.

Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal, VSM is an officer of the Indian Army and the first Indian to climb the Seven Summits and Mount Everest three times. He is a veteran of more than 30 mountaineering expeditions across seven continents that include the Mount Everest expedition four times.
