On February 21st, 2025, Edmond Police officers responded to a report of a suspected intoxicated driver at the Sidecar Bar in Edmond, Oklahoma. A caller reported seeing a couple stumble out of the bar and get into a black Audi before attempting to drive away. Officers located the vehicle in the parking lot with the engine running and the driver seated behind the wheel. Police observed clear signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. The driver admitted to drinking and stated he planned to drive home. During field sobriety testing, he showed multiple indicators of impairment and was arrested for Actual Physical Control (DUI/APC). The passenger was also found to be heavily intoxicated, repeatedly ignored commands, and was arrested for Public Intoxication. During transport and booking, officers documented additional disruptive behavior.
