The Highland 1000 featuring Jaguar XJ40

Hi Everyone,

This video captures our road trip adventure in the Highlands of Scotland with XJ40. The route is loosely based on the Highland 1000 route devised by Peter Simpson in his book "The Curved Road" that in turn features the popular North Coast 500 route. I tried to ensure that each day of driving was roughly equal but the further north we ventured, accommodation options became more limited for one night stays. That said, all of our booked accommodation was really good - so no complaints at all. I have included route updates for each day within the video for reference.
