Ready to consolidate your knowledge of product LCAs? Welcome to Part Two in our video series about life cycle assessments. Explore the Life Cycle Reporting and Critical Review phases as outlined in ISO 14040 and 14044.
First, we will make some important observations about the reporting phase, and look at the most general requirements for creating a good report. Then, we broaden our scope to look at more detailed reports that arise from special circumstances. Explore the major elements of a report that require third-party review, or are governed by a panel of interested parties, or are intended for public disclosure.
Next, we examine the critical review phase by looking at the characteristics of a review, as well as other characteristics that are not shared with this phase. We then broaden our scope, much like the reporting phase, and explore how the format of the review changes depending on who commissions it, who carries it out, and who will read it afterwards.
