UPDATE Google adds a new Performance section to Settings in Chrome (Canary)

As previously posted, in this section (which is currently empty) you will eventually be able to configure a 'high efficiency mode' and a 'battery saving mode' that will discard inactive tabs in the background after the specified amount of time:    • Google could be bringing a new Perfor...   As spotted by u/Leopeva64-2 on Reddit, there will also eventually be an indicator in the toolbar when the Battery Saver mode is active, and it will be possible to turn it off from the dialog. The 'high efficiency mode' (Snooze tabs) will also have its own indicator, that will appear for a few seconds in the address bar when clicking on a tab that has been previously discarded:    • UPDATE Google Chrome may get "Battery...
