The Life of Charles de Foucauld

Описание к видео The Life of Charles de Foucauld

Charles de Foucauld (1858-1916) is a fascinating and influential spiritual figure. He wanted to imitate Jesus; specifically, he wanted to imitate “the hidden life of the poor and humble workman of Nazareth.” As a young man, Charles lived a worldly life, but after a dramatic conversion he lived for God alone. In his hermitage in the Sahara Desert, Charles became the “universal brother” to everyone.

Charles’ life is an inspiration to the Little Sisters of Jesus and Mary and the ministry of the Joseph House.
