This spring catfishing trip takes place during what I call the late pre-spawn. In other words the catfish spawn is approaching quickly. I you want to learn how to catch catfish in these conditions, and what you can expect from the catfish bite, this is an informative video.

I managed a medium size blue catfish, a small channel catfish, and a monster flathead catfish to completer what we call a GRAND SLAM of catfish on Lake Wylie near Charlotte North Carolina.
