This 1977 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia is a US-market example that was delivered new through Volkswagen’s European tour and collection program, and it now shows 39k miles. The van was used to tour national parks and remained registered in the US through 2015, and it was later relocated to Germany. Finished in Sage Green and white over green plaid cloth upholstery, the van is powered by a 1,970cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, a pop-up top, dual side mirrors, an AM radio, a dashboard-mounted altimeter and compass, a rear kitchenette, a folding bed, a rear table, and a cabin heater. This Type 2 is now offered with a 1977 order form copy, manufacturer’s literature, camping permits, and a superseded California title in Göttingen, Germany, by the seller on behalf of the current owner, a licensed German retail dealership, with a bill of sale.
