I test the new 2022 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4WD and I come away very impressed.

Under the hood of the 2022 Tundra is a 3.4L twin-turbo i-Force V-6 engine. Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition trims get the option of the hybrid i-Force Max. My Platinum tester's engine produces 389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque and it's brilliant.

New independent rear suspension with optional air ride provides superb comfort and control. There are several drive modes, Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport S , Sport S+ and custom where you can select various options for powertrain, steering and suspension.

Inside the all new cabin impresses with new tech including a 14 inch landscape oriented touchscreen which is fast and easy to use and backed up by various physical buttons for HVAC, volume etc.

The new twin turbo 6 pulls like a train and mated to a very smooth 10-speed transmission makes this 21 foot truck very fun to drive.
