Maya 2020 UV Mapping Tutorial | How to UV map in Maya

In this detailed Maya 2018 UV mapping tutorial I'll guide you through the basics of UV unwrapping in Maya 2018 and take you through to a point where you will feel confident when UV unwrapping your own 3D models. In the 5 exercises you will learn how to perform UV projections, including planar and automatic, how to resize and layout your UV shells, how to minimize visible seams, how to unfold and optimize UVs and how to stack shells for improve texel density. There are also a couple of bonus steps that cover exporting for and texturing in Photoshop and Substance Painter.
