Taking pictures of race cars?
Wondering how to shoot motorsport? Here is a complete guide to getting started in race car photography. It may not be obvious how to set up your camera if youre used to taking pictures of things that aren't moving at 100+ miles per hour!
In this video I go over the specific settings I use, which lenses I choose, and what camera bodies I bring with on professional race car photo shoots.
I work in enduro racing, so very long events which has benefits of not missing those crucial shots, but also it becomes an endurance event of its own for me, the photographer.
My main camera is a Nikon D850. I pair that with the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8, and for a long lens the Sigma 150-600mm sport.
This video was shot on a Sony Alpha a6600
