I have known this lilting song by Talatji over five decades and I used to love the exotic tune no end. This is a great composition from the genius of a composer Sajjad Hussain and the lyrics were by Jan Nisar Akhtar. The movie was RUSTAM SOHRAB (1963), an old Iranian tale of kings and princes. Rustam and Sohrab, father and son, get separated and they finally meet tragically only to fight each other. Mazandaran is a region in Iran where the action largely takes place. No wonder, Sajjad's beautiful music has the Middle East elements.
The main stars in the movie were Prithviraj Kapoor, Suraiya and Premnath.
