Behavioral Parent Training and ADHD in Children & Teens

Описание к видео Behavioral Parent Training and ADHD in Children & Teens

One of the most well-studied psychosocial treatments for children and teens with ADHD is behavioral parent training. Here I discuss the rational for using parent training to work with families with children with ADHD and list the various programs that are publicly available. I also describe their commonalities which explains why they are all nearly equally effective to each other. I then discuss some of the limitations of these programs as well as potential side effects from them that can occur in certain subsets of families.
