One might think that these three radios should perform the same, but while performance between them is indeed very similar, some small differences can be noticed at times. As all three radios have different antenna lengths, I decided to connect them to an external antenna in order to make sure the comparison would be somewhat accurate.

I think the most notable difference is that the XHDATA seems to offer slightly less selectivity (seperating two relatively strong signals on adjacent frequencies). It's still a great radio though, just like the other two.

Also, the last comparison (1LIVE Olsberg 107.0) left me puzzled. While the PL-310ET always seemed to have a slight edge over the XHDATA, and sometimes - which surprised me as well - the PL-390, both Tecsuns failed miserably this time, with the XHDATA being the only one receiving a clear signal.
