His trained eye caught sight of a black Ford Mustang tearing down the highway at an alarming speed. Without hesitation, he activated his blue lights and initiated a traffic stop. What seemed like a routine procedure quickly turned into a tense standoff as Hubbard discovered the driver, Terry Lee Bequette, had active felony parole warrants and was considered armed and dangerous.

With adrenaline pumping, Hubbard instructed Bequette to exit the vehicle, but Bequette's defiance only fueled the fire. Ignoring commands, Bequette sped off, triggering a high-speed chase that reached speeds over 100 miles per hour. The pursuit took a dangerous turn when Bequette recklessly maneuvered through oncoming traffic, risking the lives of innocent bystanders.

As the chase intensified, Hubbard's determination never wavered. Battling against the odds, he navigated through traffic and treacherous terrain, never losing sight of his target. With the help of fellow officers and tactical maneuvers, they managed to corner Bequette, forcing him to abandon his vehicle and flee on foot.
