#কুরআনে হালাল খাওয়ার নির্দেশ

হালাল এবং হারাম নির্ধারিত করার ক্ষমতা মহান আল্লাহ তাআলা ব্যতিত আর কারো নেই। শয়তানের অনুসারী হয়ে আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত হালাল বস্তুকে হারাম করা সীমা লংঘনের শামিল। যেমনটি আরবের পৌত্তলিক ও মুশরিকরা করতো। তারা তাদের মূর্তির নামে উৎসর্গীকৃত জন্তু থেকে কোনো উপকার গ্রহণ করা এবং ভক্ষণ করা নিজেদের জন্য হারাম করে নিত। আল্লাহ তাআলা কুরআনে নির্দেশ দিচ্ছেন যে তোমরা শয়তানের অনুসরণ করে আল্লাহ কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত হালাল বস্তু ভক্ষণ করা থেকে নিজেদেরকে বিরত রেখ না। আল্লাহ তাআলা মুসলিম উম্মাহকে সুস্পষ্ট নির্দেশ দিয়ে বলেন-

‘হে মানব জাতি! পৃথিবীতে যে সকল হালাল ও পবিত্র খাদ্যবস্তু রয়েছে; তা থেকে তোমরা আহার করো। এবং শয়তানের দেখানো পথ অনুসরণ করো না। নিশ্চয়ই সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু। (সুরা বাক্বারা : আয়াত ১৬৮)

পূর্ববর্তী আয়াতে আল্লাহ তাআলার নির্দেশিত পথে না চলার কারণে কিয়ামতের দিন তাঁর শাস্তি দেখে অবিশ্বাসীদের আফসোস ও অনুশোচনা উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। কুরআন হাদিসের বাণী গ্রহণ না করে তারা দুনিয়ায় অবিশ্বাসী নেতাদের কথা মতো চলার কারণেই তারা কিয়ামতের দিন আফসোস করে বলবে- হায়! এদের কথামতো উপাসনা-পূজা করে কত বড় জঘন্য ভুল করেছি! সেখানে যে আফসোসের কোনো মূল্য নেই।

এ আয়াতে আল্লাহ তাআলা মুসলিম উম্মাহর উদ্দেশ্যে ঘোষণা করছেন যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ তাআলা কর্তৃক বৈধ ও পবিত্র খাদ্যদ্রব্য ভক্ষণ করো। কোনো ভাবেই শয়তানের অনুসরণ করিও না। অর্থাৎ যারা আল্লাহ তাআলা পথে চলে না; কুরআন সুন্নাহ মোতাবেক চলে না তাদের কথা মতো হালাল কাজকে হারাম মনে করে তা থেকে বিরত থাকা আবার আল্লাহ কর্তৃক হারাম কাজকে হালাল মনে করে তা করতে থাকা মারাত্মক অন্যায়।

No one has the power to determine what is halal and what is haram except Allah Almighty. Forbidding the halal things prescribed by Allah by following Satan is tantamount to violating the limits. As the pagans and idolaters of Arabia used to do. They used to forbid themselves to take any benefit from the animals offered in the name of their idols and to eat them. Allaah commands in the Qur'aan that you should not follow the footsteps of Satan and eat of the lawful things prescribed by Allaah. Allaah has clearly instructed the Muslim Ummah:


‘O human race! All the halal and holy foods in the world; You eat from it. And do not follow the path shown by the devil. Surely he is your open enemy. (Surat al-Baqara: 18)

In the previous verse, the regret and remorse of the unbelievers on the Day of Resurrection for not following the path directed by Allah has been mentioned. On the Day of Resurrection, they will say with regret because they follow the words of the unbelieving leaders in the world without accepting the words of the Qur'an and Hadith. What a heinous mistake I have made by worshiping according to their words! There is no value in that regret.

In this verse, Allah is declaring to the Muslim Ummah that you should eat lawful and holy food from Allah. Do not follow the devil in any way. That is, those who do not follow the path of Allah; The Qur'an does not follow the Sunnah. It is a grave injustice to abstain from halal deeds which are considered haraam according to their words, and to do what Allah considers haraam deeds to be halal.
