Ukraine has signed an agreement with a U.S. company to manufacture hundreds of thousands of drones this year and in the coming years, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced during his visit to Denmark on Thursday. According to the Ukrainian leader, the deal will strengthen Ukraine’s defense sector and help combat Russian aggression.

European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen has said the EU is ready to agree to a deal with the United States on trade as the deadline for an agreement approaches.

Poland will be reinstating checks on the borders with Germany and Lithuania. This is a reciprocal move to border controls introduced by Berlin that is intended to minimize migrant trafficking from Lithuania.
