Fishing Hays Inlet. LAST of the WHITING?

The kids asked for a fishing trip and what better fish to go after with kids than the good old whiting. Generally, in April, the whiting come into Hays Inlet in good numbers before they move off elsewhere for winter.

The recent heavy rains we had over Easter had upset fishing in the area. I took this opportunity to kill two birds with the same stone; take the kids fishing and to check if the whiting were there.

So, join the kids and I as we put our whiting hunting skills to the test in Hays Inlet, April 2021.
