Police were in pursuit of an SUV traveling at high speeds carrying at least one robbery suspect that started in Glendale on Tuesday afternoon.

The pursuit began around 3:30 p.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirms the driver of the SUV being chased by officers is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Highland Park.

The vehicle traveled on the wrong side of the road, ran stop lights and was throwing items out of a rear passenger-side window.

One other suspect involved in that pursuit has also been taken into custody in Echo Park.
