In this video I will show you how to check to see if you have a caching plugin installed which is preventing your WordPress edits from updating. If you edits are NOT updating it could be caused by cacheing!

To solve this you can choose to deactivate the WP Super Cache plugin or just turn off the caching whilst making updates.I would also recommend that you clear your browser's cache too.

Hello this is Jennifer Bailey and I thought to record this really quick the video for you and because if you've ever had any problems with you updates are you edits on a WordPress website not changing or updating. It is really frustrating to make some changes you refresh your website actually did changes all still as they weather for you all to them what I've realized that when I started recording my latest e-learning course that I was having this problem and I thought well okay maybe I need to clear the cache on my browse which I did and it still didn't work so then I went back and had to look at my plugins that were installed when I installed WordPress because I installed WordPress through Host Gator my web host
and this time that I did this installation I noticed that extra plugin had been installed.
such good show you what that one is so we need to do is go to plugins and installed plugins and just have a look to see if you have any cache type plugins have come installed when you did you install because to be on the web host you may find that one's been automatically installed says this one here WP Super Cache came installed with Hostgator
so what you need to do is whilst you editing your website you need to deactivate that plugin or tired of the caching because it's basically preventing these updates happening
because it's by storing a copy of your website. Ideally makes it load quicker but it just means you're not look at the most up-to-date one. You should also to change the settings for that you need to come across to the settings menu and come down to WP Super Cache hit the easy tab which is at the top there and make sure that caching is of
and then update your status and they are fine now that you shouldn't have any problems
