Rebecca J. Hogue facilitates the MYFest session held on 7 August 2024. Rebecca introduces the concepts of sociocracy and intentional community, and describes the benefits of a governance system that is not consensus nor majority rules. She touches on how an introduction to some of the sociocracy concepts can help students be more effective at group work. Although not necessary, you will get a little more out of the workshop if you do a little pre-reading/watching prior to the workshop.
