Exactly what I needed works great for my Pit Boss 456D. Needed extra hopper space for longer smoking.. This should have been included with the pitboss smoker. It allows me to cook all day without concern about running out of pellets. This thing is awesome just slide it over your old bin.. This item was used to extend the hopper on the Pitt Boss 456D. It works as intended and greatly increases the pellet storage space. The product delivered more quickly than estimated and is of similar quality to the smoker itself. Another reviewer of this grill on YouTube states the smoker is prone to tipping once installed and utilized so he did not buy it. I do not see this being a problem. However, I keep pellets in a bucket under the grill. Perhaps it would be more noticeable without. Either way, this extension helped me set the grill to cook while away from home for a few hours without concern related to running out of pellets. I recommend picking this up if you plan to smoke for long period of time.
