50 years ago in 1969 the Latin American Community Center (LACC) was established by a group of young Latinos searching for opportunity in Delaware. They created a community center to provide a safe haven for Latino families and children, both immigrants and non-immigrants alike. Since then, the LACC has touched the lives of over 25,000 people, providing education, case management, financial empowerment, and advocacy for low income families to thrive.
2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the LACC. In honor of this monumental anniversary, we have created a video to celebrate our commitment to service and our dedication to the Latino community and the state of Delaware.
