Last fall I made a video of a Firman LPG generator we picked up at Costco on sale. Great deal, IMO. Also, it was $50 lower in store than online, so the deal was even better locally. Wanted to have a "dry" generator in case we had to be mobile with it and didn't want to deal with the gas issues.

Anyhow, the generator sat unboxed for a month or so due to other priorities. once I opened it, following all the instructions, it just wouldn't electric start. Pull start no issues, so I know the generator worked. I had also plugged in the trickle charger before trying the electric start and the light on the charger was green. Hmmm, WTF?

Reached out to the manufacturer and after a 5 min call, a new battery was on the way. In the meantime, because I like to tinker, I decided to remove the battery (no small or quick task - space optimized frame and such...with big fat hands don't mix well). Once I had the battery out, I trickle charged it with my charger and 11 minutes later all was done. Put it back in and all worked with electric start as it should have originally. Now I have a spare battery ;-)

BTW, from call to package deliver was 5 days. Outstanding customer service!
