Take a look at the extended highlights from that pulsating 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough at Old Trafford, on this day 25 years ago.

The Spireites were 2-0 up at the hour mark after Andy Morris and Sean Dyche's second half goals - the Premier League side also had Vladimir Kinder sent off.

However, Middlesbrough responded and levelled things up through Fabrizio Ravanelli and Craig Hignett. Between the two goals, Jonathan Howard had an effort that bounced over the line after hitting the crossbar but referee David Elleray refused to give the goal.

In extra time, the top flight team took the lead for the first time after Gianluca Festa scored in the 100th minute. The Spireites refused to give up though and grabbed a late equaliser when Jamie Hewitt's looping header found the back of the net - manager John Duncan lost his glasses in the ensuing celebrations!

Both sides were forced to settle for a replay which took place at Hillsborough, nine days later. Unfortunately, Chesterfield's unbelievable FA Cup run would come to an end after a 3-0 loss.

Despite that, the Spireites FA Cup run captured the imagination of the nation and took part in one of the best FA Cup semi-finals ever. Chesterfield came so close to becoming the first team from the third tier of English football to reach an FA Cup final. However, that team created memories that will last a lifetime for the supporter and memories that are still celebrated 25 years later.
