If you're a food lover, Sandals resorts in the Bahamas are a paradise. Each resort has around a dozen different restaurants to choose from, offering everything from simple snacks and sweets to fast food meals and fancy, dress-code restaurants.

At Emerald Bay, we enjoyed Café de Paris for simple snacks and sweets, and dined at the Italian restaurant IL CIELO and the French restaurant La Parisienne, both of which require reservations.

At Royal Bahamian in Nassau, we had dinner at the fancy French restaurant La Plume, with its Art Nouveau interior and views of the pool. We also tried the food trucks Coco Queen, which serves conch-themed quick bites, and Sweet N Things for those with a sweet tooth. And if there's a Butch's at your resort, don't miss it.

In between fast food and fancy restaurants, there are also some unique dining options. At Kimonos, for example, you can enjoy a Japanese Teppanyaki-style dinner show with a chef who entertains you with acrobatic moves while cooking your food.

We also enjoyed Soy, which is available at every resort and serves sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese-style seafood delicacies. It doesn't require reservations, and the portions are small, so you can ask for as many plates as you can handle.

When it comes to breakfast, some restaurants offer a la carte menu, while others offer buffet. We liked both, but if you're a fan of fresh fruits, we recommend sticking to the buffet, which offers unlimited quantities and a wider variety to choose from.

Overall, Royal Bahamian offers more variety when it comes to food, while Emerald Bay is more relaxed. And don't forget to talk to your concierge about making reservations for fancy dress-code dinners – they're always the best at the resort!
