The 2025 Leapmotor B01 is an all-electric sedan designed to offer a balance of modern styling, high efficiency, and affordability. With dimensions of 4770 mm in length, 1880 mm in width, and 1490 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2735 mm, the B01 provides a spacious and streamlined profile. Built on the LEAP 3.5 platform and equipped with an 800V charging architecture, it supports rapid charging capabilities. Two rear-wheel-drive powertrain options are available: a 132 kW (177 hp) and a more powerful 160 kW (215 hp) variant, both paired with either a 56.2 kWh or a 67.1 kWh LFP battery pack. These battery options provide estimated ranges of 510–550 km and 650 km respectively under ideal conditions.

Inside, the B01 blends digital sophistication and comfort, featuring a 14.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and interior themes like Moonlight Purple and Cloud Gray. Rear passengers benefit from a 28-degree reclining seat and a 60/40 split-fold option, contributing to the vehicle’s impressive 86% space efficiency rating. Trunk space stands at 460 liters, offering expandability for added utility. The exterior design includes a continuous light strip, split daytime running lights, and piano black detailing, available in eight color options including the eye-catching “Morgan Pink.”

Priced competitively at around 150,000 yuan (approximately $21,000 USD), the Leapmotor B01 targets budget-conscious EV buyers without compromising on range or technology. The company has ambitious plans to sell up to 40,000 units per month, and while the initial market focus is on China, the B01 is also being evaluated for potential entry into Europe. With its strong combination of range, rapid charging, and tech-rich features, the B01 stands out as a strong contender in the affordable electric sedan segment.
