On October 6, Joint Center President Spencer Overton provided expert testimony at a congressional hearing entitled “Voting Rights And Election Administration: Combatting Misinformation In The 2020 Election.”

The remote hearing was hosted by the Subcommittee on Elections House Administration Committee, which is chaired by Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (D-OH). Other expert panelists included Cuyahoga County, Ohio Board of Elections Member Inajo David Chappell, Colorado Secretary of State The Honorable Jena Griswold, and U.S. Election Assistance Commissioner The Honorable Benjamin Hovland.
