The snow in yard has accumulated over the last month and has now reached around 2-3 meters or 7-10ft height. Part of that is just the accumulated snowfall but the other part is that I remove snow from the roof which falls in the yard. Even though it try to drop snow down methodically and place it near the front of the yard, there’s only so much I can put there.

Now, the snow has reached the windows and I need to monitor that. My options would be 1) to put in the window slats to barricade the glass to prevent it from caving in or 2) dig it away and keep the view.

What would you choose?

Another daily life chore living in Myoko and snow country Japan. How would you feel if you were in this situation?
