Darrell In Tents | WAPPAPELLO STATE PARK - Speechless!

This week, I took to the road and headed to Lake Wappapello State Park, in the "boot heel" of Missouri. Lake Wappapello (as the campground host told me) "is a hidden treasure!" No at all on my "beaten path" but well worth the drive through the scenic south east corner of the state. In fact, the whole experience left me SPEECHLESS! I brought my Members Mark Light Shield Instant 6-Person Tent. For dinner I pulled out one of my favorite backpacking recipes. For supper, "Thanksgiving casserole!"
