If you’ve been involved in home building for any length of time, then you’re aware that problem solving and rolling with the punches just comes with the territory.
Regardless of how, strategic and organized a builder is, there seems to always be a couple things that were unseen and need to be worked through. It then just becomes a test of how well a solution can be executed. 
If the final product looks like it was an intensional part of the original design, then you’ve fulfilled your roll as valuable contributor to the construction of a home/structure that should serve it’s inhabitant/users well for many years to come.
