I've been asked from some friends how to get coin boxes or coin rolls from different banks. It's actually very easy (IF you know their policies).

In this video, I'll be hopping around from bank to bank using the $100 non-customer maximum transaction policy to build a few boxes of coins to hunt! Most banks will allow you to exchange up to $100 in cash for coins, or even other cash denominations. Chase Bank is one of those banks and I have several near me.

The goal is to get a full box of rolls (customer and machine wrapped) and then hunt them. I won't be hunting the full boxes in this video, but I do end up hunting the extra rolls I got after I filled up the boxes. 4 of the rolls were even HEAVY in extra coins which meant a profit for me!

I urge you to find out the policies of all banks near you (even credit unions) so you can always have a fresh supply of rolls to hunt. Also, be sure to ask if they have a coin machine that is free for you to use as well! Some charge a few percentage, but it still beats COINSTAR for sure!
