here are my comments and my explanation:

My score follows the magical spirit of the animation and supports its atmosphere. I introduce the sense of magic early with delicate chimes in the intro screen. I give the flying flowers a “voice” that allows them to communicate through a warm sound, created using a virtual harp. As the first flower blooms, the scene becomes warm and enchanted, which I underscore with ominous string pads and subtle bell tones to shape the ambiance and guide the viewer until Walter’s rejection of the magic. At that moment, the music retreats into near-silence, allowing space for the orchestral composition of Walter’s theme. The waltz carries him through the sky, fades into an intimate piano farewell, and returns with full strength as he lets the final flower go.
