Описание к видео Blaenwern - God is Love Hymn - Westminster Abbey Armistice Centenary (with Lyrics)

This is the hymn, 'God is Love, Let Heaven Adore Him' written by Timothy Rees (1874 -1939) and set to the Welsh hymn tune BLAENWERN, composed by William Penfro Rowlands (1860–1937). This hymn tune is most commonly used for the hymn, 'Love Divine, All Loves Excelling'.
It was sung at the WW1 Armistice Centenary Service at Westminster Abbey on Sunday 11th November.
Sung by the Choir of Westminster Abbey. The hymn was arranged by James O'Donnell, the Director of Music at the Abbey.
